I’m excited to reveal a sneak peek of an image I did from an in-studio photography session a couple of days back. Truthfully, it’s been a long time coming. I’ve had a concept for a couple of chandeliers I’ve wanted to use that’s been percolating for quite awhile now.
This past week the stars seemed to align with the right people, and the right location to finally try it out. And, I know my mentor Ray Ketcham is breathing a very big sigh of relief down in Port Townsend ;), well, so am I!
I had the pleasure of working with one of my favorite models, the very talented Kaitlin Chapple and also working alongside my former Langara College instructor and friend Tomo Tanaka. Both Tomo and I each had a very specific idea we wanted to photograph – and we both successfully shot those concepts with each others help. Thank you Tomo!
I’m excited about this new series that is finally having the chance to emerge…The Chandelier Series is coming to life this year through dancers, and likely a series of conceptual portraits. Stay tuned for more!
